As we celebrate Independence Day this weekend, let’s remember that freedom was fought for. The same is true in our finances. We fight for what we want to keep and what we want to build.

So let’s gear up for the second half of the year and do our part to enjoy the freedom God intended for us—not just spiritually, but financially too.

• Am I adjusting my day-to-day expenses based on what’s changed?
• Are there recurring “surprises” I should start planning for?
• Am I being proactive about saving—not just reacting?
