I help Christians reduce their financial stress by improving their relationship with money. It is at that point they are able to make better decisions daily so they can live the best version of their life.
Hebrews 12:11 NewsletterHello Reader, Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Proverbs 3:9 NLT As we close out this year, we’re walking through the book of Proverbs together. Normally, when I read chapter 3, my attention goes straight to verses 5–6. But this time, verse 9 stood out in a new way. When you look at the word “honor,” it points to respect, weight, and glory. Solomon is reminding his son not only to follow God’s teachings and let Him lead your life (verses 1–8), but also to let God lead in everything you own. It’s not just about our hearts—it’s about our possessions too. Growing up, I often heard, “You’re not just representing yourself—you’re a reflection of me.” That same idea applies here. Our lives, and even our finances, should reflect God. People should be able to see Him in us without us ever having to say a word. So what does that mean practically? Everything we possess should carry the weight of God’s glory, and He deserves the first and best of what we produce—not just leftovers, not what’s convenient, but the best.
