Stewardship helps protect me from making emotional decisions. There are days I don’t feel like budgeting, planning, or sticking to the plan. And let’s be honest—distractions are everywhere. That’s why I have to begin with the end in mind. Every decision either moves me closer to my goal or further away. And God gives us the freedom to choose. We can follow His guidelines—or go our own way. That’s why I say: Your life is your budget. To do stewardship well, you can’t just look at money. You also have to examine how you spend your time, how you communicate, who you surround yourself with, how you think, and even how you treat your body. So let me ask you: Joshua made his decision.
