Good morning Reader,

I started a series this week called “Money in the Middle” — real talk for the season you are actually in.

Disappointment is heavy. If we are not careful, it can keep us stuck and make it hard to move forward. One reason many of us struggle is because we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. We focus so much on the chaos of today that we forget the calm that could come tomorrow.

Here’s an exercise that helps me shift my perspective.

Payday Tip: Where is the light?

• How many months until your next debt is paid off?
• What habits are stronger today than they were a year ago?
• What is one thing you can do today that could shift your finances to another level?

You have to see the victory before you SEE the victory.

Understanding that you are one year away from paying off a car or debt should encourage you, not discourage you. Progress may feel slow, but every consistent step matters.

Every day you keep going, you are getting closer to the goals you have been praying and working for.
