I help Christians reduce their financial stress by improving their relationship with money. It is at that point they are able to make better decisions daily so they can live the best version of their life.
Hebrews 12:11 NewsletterHello Reader, Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers and overwhelms all transgressions [forgiving and overlooking another’s faults]. Proverbs 10:12 AMPT Hate is a strong word. I rarely use it because it carries so much weight. Webster defines hate as intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or a sense of injury. That means hate has a root. Even the phrase “I hate when he or she does that” points to something deeper beneath the surface. The verse tells us that hatred stirs up strife—in other words, it creates conflict. When we let those intense emotions control us, we break unity and block healthy communication. But love does the opposite. Scripture says love overwhelms transgressions. When I think of being overwhelmed, it’s usually during stressful times. But what if we allowed love to be the overwhelming force in our financial conversations? Talking about money can be hard. The decisions, regrets, and stress can stir up tension in the relationships that mean the most. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. As Proverbs reminds us, love can shift the tone and bring peace. If you’re unsure how to start, remember what 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 says: Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.
