I help Christians reduce their financial stress by improving their relationship with money. It is at that point they are able to make better decisions daily so they can live the best version of their life.
Hebrews 12:11 NewsletterGood morning Reader, I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no pleasure. My heart took delight in all my labor, and this was the reward for all my toil. Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun. Ecclesiastes 2:10-11 NIV Have you ever said, “My eyes were too big for my stomach”? I’ve had those moments—especially on days when I didn’t eat much. I spend the day thinking about everything I’m going to eat and how good it’s going to be. Then I finally sit down, take a few bites… and I’m full. I wasn’t as hungry as I thought. That’s what today’s scripture reminds me of. Solomon had access to everything—wealth, relationships, and influence. Yet he still said it was all meaningless. That says a lot. It’s been a while since we talked about your “why.” If money is the only reason you want financial freedom, I want to challenge you to go deeper. You probably already know your stress level will go down once you’ve paid off your debt. But what else will happen? Is relief the only thing you’re seeking? There is something bigger waiting for you. There is a peace that isn’t tied to your bank account. There is a life that aligns with what God is calling you to. Money is a tool. It helps you live, give, and prepare—but it was never meant to be the goal. So let me ask you this: Because there’s a version of life you’re chasing. And it’s worth asking… is it just about having more things? Or is it about peace? Take a moment this week and really think about it.
