I help Christians reduce their financial stress by improving their relationship with money. It is at that point they are able to make better decisions daily so they can live the best version of their life.
Hebrews 12:11 NewsletterGood morning Reader, Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. If you talk to me regularly, you probably know one thing: I despise home repairs. But it’s not for the reason you might think. I expect things to break or wear down eventually. What frustrates me most is not being able to pay for it right away. Waiting for a paycheck or having to shift money around—that’s what gets under my skin. It’s been a journey. There were times we had part of the money saved, but not all of it. It helped, but it didn’t bring the full peace I was looking for. Then finally—it happened! Earlier this year, we had to repair our roof. And this time, we had the money ready. No paycheck waiting. No moving money around. My husband called the contractor and scheduled the work. Just like that. IT. FELT. AMAZING. That brings me to today’s verse: being a good steward takes both planning and hard work. This next part is for parents—but really, it applies to all of us: But what if you had it already? What if, over the next 9–12 months, you built up something to help cover the next emergency? I want you to experience the joy of not needing to pull out a credit card for an emergency. Imagine using your card just for the points or cashback—not because it's your only option. Even having just a portion of what you need saved can bring so much relief. That’s why I’m hosting the 4 Steps to Savings Webinar this month. The last few months may have stretched you—but we can prepare better. Let's go into this next season ready. Action Item Prayer of the Week Have a good week, -Latrisa
