Good morning Reader,

The best comeback stories are the ones we never forget. Down by 20 at halftime, and they still found a way to win. She lost everything ten years ago, and now she has twice the wealth she started with. The game isn't over until it's over. And neither is your year.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6 NLT

Every once in a while, we need a reminder that we're not in control of everything, even when we think we are. This verse is that reminder. No matter what kind of success you've had, there's always more room to grow. And that's actually good news. It means God isn't finished with you yet. He's still working.

If the goals you set at the start of the year feel out of reach now, that's exactly where God does his best work. But look closely at the verse again. Growth happens as He works within you. Are you letting Him? That's a question I'm still asking myself. Don't let your own independence keep you from becoming who you're meant to be.

When you let God shape you, it shows up in real ways. Your debt finally paid off. Christmas gifts bought with cash instead of credit. A bigger down payment on the house you've been praying for. A retirement fund that actually gives you peace instead of panic.

But none of that happens without listening, and without being willing to change the habits standing in your way. It's not too late for this to still be a great year.

Reflection Question: What's one habit that, if you changed it or started it today, would make this a more productive year?

Prayer of the Week: Dear God, thank you for not giving up on me. Help me not to be stagnant in my growth, but to trust the process. In Jesus' name, Amen.
