Reset the Routine | Monday Push

Hebrews 12:11 Newsletter

Hello Reader,

A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

Proverbs 16:9 NKJV

August and September mark the beginning of school for students of all ages—from Head Start to college. Even if there’s no student in your home, this season still brings change. Traffic shifts. Weekend rhythms change. Family routines adjust. It’s a natural time of reset.

We often enter this season thinking, “This will be the year everything goes right.” And I believe it can be—but it requires two things:

  • Write out your plans.
  • Share them with God.

I’ve had times when I meant well, but because I didn’t write it down, the plan got lost in the busyness of life. I didn’t pray about it either, and I ended up in a situation I created—not the one God had prepared for me.

I don’t want that to happen to you this month or this school year. Let’s take a step back, reset, and invite God in. Make the decision now and present it to Him. He will show you the way forward.

Question of the Week:
What routine do I need to establish this month?

Faith in Action:
Write out your routine and share it with God.

Prayer of the Week
Dear God, Thank You for this new month and the grace to begin again. Whether I have children in school or not, I know this season will impact my daily life. Help me stay focused and adjust with peace. Bless every parent, student, teacher, and staff member with safety and strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

P.S.
If someone you love has mentioned feeling off track or needing a fresh start, forward them this email. Let’s reset together.

Have a good week,

-Latrisa
