Plans Don’t Work Unless You Do | Payday Tip

Hebrews 12:11 Newsletter

Good morning Reader,

“No plan is worth the paper it is printed on unless it starts you doing something.”
— William Danforth

Whew. That was a gut check for me.

I came across this quote while reading The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth by John Maxwell, and it really made me pause.

How many times have we created a plan, written everything out, and still not followed through?

Now that we’re in the second quarter of the year, this is your reminder:
If you want to do better with your finances, you have to do something.

Not everything. Just something.

So let me ask you—what is one thing you need to do to stick to your financial plan?

Here are a few simple ways to get started:

Payday Tip: Stick to the plan

  • Schedule it – Put your financial tasks on your calendar so they don’t get lost in your day
  • Track it – Keep an eye on your spending throughout the month, not just at the next paycheck
  • Review it – Look at what worked, what didn’t, and make adjustments for the next pay period

I’ve had to remind myself that God honors consistency. When I take small steps, even when I don’t feel like it, I’m trusting Him with the outcome.
