I help Christians reduce their financial stress by improving their relationship with money. It is at that point they are able to make better decisions daily so they can live the best version of their life.
Hebrews 12:11 NewsletterGood morning Reader, She has no fear of winter for her household, for everyone has warm clothes. - Proverbs 31:21 What if? In my life, I’ve used the words “what if” in two situations: when I’m afraid to start and when I’m worried something bad might happen. Those two words can take us in very different directions. They can keep us stuck in fear, or they can push us to prepare. In today’s verse, the Proverbs 31 woman has no fear of winter. How is that possible? The second half of the verse tells us: “For all of them are clothed in scarlet.” She wasn’t afraid because she had prepared. More preparation = less fear. Winter is coming, my friends. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but at some point an emergency will happen. That’s part of life. But Proverbs 31 shows us something important. When we prepare well, difficult moments don’t have to knock us down for weeks, months, or even years. Take time to read Proverbs 31:10–31 this week. Notice how intentional she was with what God gave her. Imagine a life where emergencies don’t set you back. Imagine thinking about the future without dread. That kind of peace is one of the benefits of good stewardship. But it requires being intentional and doing the small things consistently. What you do consistently today will shape how prepared you are tomorrow. Reflection Question Prayer of the Week Good stewardship takes intention and consistency. But you don’t have to figure it out alone. Want to be prepared before the next emergency happens?
