We are blessed to give. When God increases our income—through a raise, a bonus, or even unexpected provision—it’s a good time to reflect on how we can also increase our generosity.

Let me ask you: since receiving your last raise or bonus, have you increased your giving? Or are you still giving the same amount as before?

Here’s something to consider: the next time you receive a financial increase, set aside a portion as seed. That way, when an opportunity arises to give, you’ll be ready—without scrambling or second-guessing. You’ll already be positioned to be a blessing.

• Talk with your spouse or accountability partner about how you want to grow in giving.
• Decide on a specific amount or percentage to increase with each raise or bonus.
• Set a date to start—and make room for it in your budget now.
