Don’t Miss Your Harvest | Monday Push

Hebrews 12:11 Newsletter

Good morning Reader,

Those too lazy to plow in the right season will have no food at the harvest. -Proverbs 20:4 NLT

Today was supposed to be takeaways from Proverbs. Somehow I skipped over Proverbs 20, and when I went back to read it, it felt like a gut punch.

I try to be honest with you all, so I’ll say this plainly.

When December comes, we can’t be upset about progress we didn’t make if we didn’t do the work to get there. That is a tough pill to swallow.

Delaying action can keep us from the vision we have for our families. Yes, there can be outside factors. But at the end of the day, we are still responsible for the work we do.

This verse didn’t just challenge you. It challenged me too.

There have been seasons where I delayed things I knew I needed to do. And when harvest time came, the results reflected that. God doesn’t sugarcoat things in His Word. He tells us the truth so we can grow.

As the first quarter of the year begins to close, this is a good moment to pause and be honest with ourselves.

Reflection Question
Where have I been avoiding the work needed to reach my goals?

Action Step
Take time this week to look at the goal you’ve been delaying and take one step toward completing it.

The good news is this: it isn’t too late.

You can pivot right now.

I recently read a book called It Takes What It Takes. My biggest takeaway from it was simple: success requires letting go of excuses.

Stewardship is the foundation of everything I teach here. It isn’t based on whether things are easy or hard. Stewardship is choosing to do the right thing with what God has given us.

You can still reach your goal.

Change your mindset and start taking action.

Let’s not get to December saying should have, would have, could have.

Let’s get there saying:
I accomplished.
I grew.
I pushed through.

Prayer of the Week
Lord, forgive me for delaying the work You placed before me. Give me discipline and wisdom to act. Help me steward what You’ve given me well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I help Christians reduce their financial stress by improving their relationship with money. It is at that point they are able to make better decisions daily so they can live the best version of their life.
