Young men hearing their names, tears falling, families celebrating—it’s beautiful. You can tell it’s something they’ve dreamed about for years. But even in that joy, one thing is clear: getting drafted is not the finish line. It’s the beginning. There is still work ahead. That’s what today’s message reminds me of—two things we have to hold at the same time. Be grateful for what you have. Put your faith into action. Think about those athletes. Yes, they imagined that moment—but they also trained, sacrificed, and stayed consistent. There were long days and early mornings no one saw. We do the same thing with our lives. We dream about the promotion. But dreaming without action will leave you stuck. Today's scripture reminds us that chasing after things without movement is like chasing the wind. It looks like progress, but nothing is actually changing. As April comes to an end, take a moment to reflect.
